The Airport Diary takes place five years after a huge increase in passenger traffic at a busy airport. Yeung Seung Wai has been promoted to duty manager of the airport’s control center, where he’s responsible for keeping everything running smoothly.

His ex-wife, Cheung Yeuk Ling, is now the director of Hong Kong Airlines at the airport, and whenever they work together, their old arguments flare up—even though there’s still some unspoken affection between them.

Things get even more complicated when Captain Guo Qi Quang, a pilot, becomes interested in Yeuk Ling, and Gwo Ya Wen, Wei’s former lover, reappears, adding more tension to the mix.

When a powerful typhoon hits the airport, a passenger plane is forced to make an emergency landing. In the midst of the storm, these four people must face not only the chaos outside, but also their complicated feelings for each other.
