Good to see you here, Rei. I once had all Rei and majority other uploaders back in the old day but now I can’t access my extHard drive. I was thinking of putting on the cloud for @ahbee to download and upload here but my Window, Mac, or even Linux can’t see/find the drive. All that hard work down to the drain. Hey, same here Groupon. My 3 TB powered external Seagate HD broke earlier this year too — exactly the same spinning noise you described. I tried to hook it up internally with my PC without any luck. I’m backing up everything to the cloud from now on.

After watching Yang Yang in “You Are My Glory”, I’ve become so in love with him!! Lol. I didn’t know this is dubbed. Will check this out for Yang Yang!! Gosh, he’s in a handful of this game series. I can’t wait to see him in the fantasy drama “Who Rules the World” with Zhao Lusi next year! Thank you for the uploads!!

Hey you welcome! I’m a fan of Yang Yang and most game series, including the King’s Avatar. I like this series, and it has good replayability. Though the recent surrogacy scandal with the main actress, Zheng Shuang, is quite a let down whenever I see the main character now.

@Rei, I’m not found of the FL in this series that’s why I put off watching it. I like Yang Yang paring up with Dilraba too much to see him with other actresses. Besides, he look so good in YRMG. There are a lot of Chinese web series I would like to watch dubbed in Khmer, but they’re too slow in dubbing.

@Rei, I’ve only discovered these short Chinese web series that’s easy to watch and been enjoying it so much. I didn’t know that Chinese can makes these romance web series so addicting. “Romance Of Tiger and Rose”, “You Are My Glory”, and “Go Princess Go” are one of my favorites!! The leads chemistry are on fire!! I can watch these series over and over and not get tired of it. I love that they are short and no annoying side characters. It’s so easy to watch! I’ve discovered my love for Chinese series again!

I really enjoyed the gaming parts in YAMG. The graphics were done nicely.You can they went all out on it. But it’s definitely a romance-centric series than gaming.
@Wayyhaa, I’m also looking forward to Who Rules the World.
@Rei, I recommend The Long Ballad if you want to catch a Chinese series this year. IMO, it’s the best series for 2021.

@hamster, YRMG is my first gaming series. I’m not into gaming so it was something different for me. I just like the mature love storyline in there.
I hope The Long Ballad gets dubbed in Khmer soon so I can watch. It’s too long for me to watch it in subs, I’m too lazy to read. Lol. I’ve seen clips of Lusi and the 2nd lead so I just want to watch for them, they seems more interesting than the main leads.Ok, just saw the first episode of Love020, it’s okay. I’m not too fond of the characters in there.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions Hamster and Wayyhaa. I love gaming series, so will definitely check out You are My Glory first. Will read more about the Long Ballad. Lately I’ve been watching a lot of K dramas, mostly Netflix thriller ones like the Kingdom and Memories of the Alhambra, which is another game related series (augmented reality as opposed to the common MMO).
Wayyhaa, Love020 is my first series with Yang Yang. I think for me I like the idea of gaming, and friends starting a small successful business — I guess things that open up ideas in Life I tend to like. The King’s Avatar with Yang Yang is pretty good, but it’s very focused on gaming and friendship, and zero romance. I’m a gamer so might be a bit biased lol.

@Rei, I’m having a hard time watching Love020. Maybe cus it’s an old drama and pretty slow compare to the more recent C-dramas that more fast past and no/not much side characters. This feels like watching high schoolers act and Yang Yang’s character is too perfect in here that I’m so bother by it. There’re just too much thinking going on with the FL lead that I don’t find it good. It’s an awkward drama for me, I tried watching for Yang Yang but I just can’t continue. I’ll just have to wait for his new series.

@Wayyhaa, it might not be your cup of tea then. It has a pretty centric plot around the school at least half of the story. I actually skipped this series when I first heard of it (not too crazy with high school romance lol) but the gaming aspect got me started.

@Hamster and @Wayyhaa, I’m close to dropping “You are my Glory” and It’s also my first series with Dilraba as a main, so I have no attachment here. But I read that the first few episodes are slow so I might continue. I’m not a fan of mobile gaming (the first few episodes of gameplay are rather annoying to watch). The graphical CGI style used in Yang Yang’s the King’s Avatar are so much more appealing.
I prefer something more gaming centric anyway, and perhaps, it didn’t help with my lack of interest in c-dramas these days heh. Though it is interesting that both Love 020 and YAMG are from the same writer.

Hey Misty, you welcome! There’s a good chance that CTV8, or another channel might dub You are my Glory. At least from what I’ve seen, Dilraba’s dramas tend to get dubbed a lot. So there’s hope there heh.

@Rei, I thought the same, that it had a slow start. Nothing was really happening in the first 3 episodes. I, too, almost dropped it. But I like aerospace/universe stuff so continued for that, though a lot of viewers find that aspect of the show boring. I like YY’s character and his slice of life story in here.

@Hamster, I actually continued pass episode three. It has gotten better for me, and it helps that the music is good, and Yang Yang’s character being a bit more sophisticated (in contrast to his perfect character portrayal in L020 and some other shows).

@Rei and @hamster, I too almost dropped YRMG when I first watched it. After the gaming show scene pass, it gets so much better. I did like that the gaming brought the leads to a bonding and understanding of each more. I like their conversations and interaction during the gaming training. YRYG was my first drama of Yang Yang and Dilraba so I didn’t expect much from them and through they were pretty good in their roles. This is one rare drama that only focus on the leads and no annoying characters. I really like that about YRMG. It takes us on journey of the leads love life from dating to marriage…. Sorry, spoiler.
If you guys like the gaming dramas, I recommend “Falling Into Your Smile” and “Go Go Squid”. These two dramas are cute and sweet with a good supporting cast.
