Yip Yeung is fascinated by special diagrams called "tui bei tu," which can predict the future and help people find good luck or avoid danger. One day, Yuen Hei tricks Yip Yeung into buying fake diagrams he made. But their plan is exposed by a wise man named Lee Sing Tin.

Seeing potential in both Yip Yeung and Yuen Hei, Lee Sing Tin takes them in as his apprentices to teach them how to properly use the real diagrams. Later, Yip Yeung discovers he's actually a descendant of royalty! He tries to use his new skills to take over the throne, but every time he looks into the future, he only sees disaster waiting for him if he tries to change destiny.
