The lady at the video rental told me they are not getting any movies from SPP because SPP does not allow rental because they are not profiting with people making copies. So not sure if we ever getting anymore movies for rent. But this movie is dubbed already and completed by SPP along with 5 other movies that I want to see to. 🙁

Hey no problem guys. As for Mr. Berry and everyone else waiting for the other dubbing version, I hope they will release it soon too. But like MBP has stated, SPP has been very slow with releasing their new dubs to local video store now, even though they had already dubbed a dozen of new series already.

Hey M, it’s not hard at all. I was basically using Khmer unicode, and it’s just basically switching your keyboard mode between Khmer and English. My understanding of the Khmer language is quite basic, but I do know my Khmer alphabets — enough to put them into words and sentences lol.

*sigh* I have tried to watch this serie thrice already. Twice in Chinese and once when I saw you upload the Khmer version bong sleepyhead; but I just can’t do it. This is one of my favourite wuxia novels of all times, but this serial butchered the entire novel. I can’t accept ANY of the arrangements. I am a fan of Liang Yu Sheng’s novels but this serial is almost worst then 1999 version with Shui Ling. Actually Shui Ling’s version may be better because the lead actor and actress were much better than here.
Nicky Wu is cute and looks good for his age but Zhuo Yi Hang is not supposed to be like this and the dude cannot act. And Ma Su is not the Yuo Lua Cha I ever had in mind either; her hair is also very ugly. The ATV version in 1986 is still the best one for me and nothing comes close to it. The TVB version was also pretty good, with some plot changes as well though. Sad because I was really looking forward to this adaption.
Also having Yue Mingke secretly loving Yuo Luo Cha is unnacceptable to me. And why the hell is Xin Long Zhi here as a Wudang disciple, he should still be a child by the end of the novel when Zhuo Yi Hang goes and finds the flower then accepts him as a disciple. Here he is the fourth disciple for some strange reason. Tie Fei Long is supposed to be Yuo Luo Cha’s god father, why is he her martial uncle here? And why does he have a twin?
Poor Liang Yu Sheng, if he knew he might come out of his grave and vomit blood if he knew what they were doing to his classic works. I wonder why they don’t make an adaption of the novel that comes after this story, Swordsman From the Mountain Pass. Oh and btw, bong sleepyhead I had no idea you can read Khmer. haha.

Hey Pka Yoyo, glad to see you still around. =) I had to laugh when reading your last paragraph lol. Honestly I haven’t seen this version yet, and had thought about skipping it. The only version I’ve seen for the White Hair Maiden was the 1999 version with Julian and Shui Ling. It was quite draggy from what I could remember but I did finish it.
So yeah, I’m learning to read and write Khmer. It’s a bit difficult, but I’m hanging there. 🙂

And you are right, if I were to only upload videos that I like and skip the rest, there would only be a few shared this year — but I know others might like it. So yeah, the issue is that this series hasn’t been fully released yet. I will update when I get the next release on it.

If you have Vista or newer it’s quite easy. Click on Control Panel. Under “Clock, Language, and Region” click on “change keyboards and other input methods.” A window will pop up. Click on “change keyboards…” A window will pop up. Click on “Add” and scroll down to Khmer and click on the + sign next to it. Under Keyboard, select Khmer, click OK, and then click Apply. You should see EN at the bottom of your taskbar. Click on it to switch to KH and that will turn on Khmer keyboard. Go online and search for Khmer Unicode keyboard layout; you’ll need it to know which key to press for which characters. If you want fancier fonts than the ones offered by Windows you can search for and download them from the Internet. Cambodia.org has some.
